Job Purpose

The Job Holder leads a portfolio of change projects for Finance including strategic and tactical solutions, collaborating cross functionally within Finance, as well as IT, D&A and other divisions

Key Accountabilities (1)

1. Project management and implementation
'- Make an overall work plan, design and schedule detailed work with the guidance and direction of Head of Finance System Management
  • In-depth participation and provide consulant in pilot preparation and implementation
  • Support members of the Implementation Team in design, detailed planning, piloting and implementation
  • Together with the Deployment Team to pilot the initiative (1 to 2 rounds)
  • Coordinate with the Implementation Specialist, business units, support units to carry out the assigned tasks within the scope of the initiative such as: interviewing units to identify existing problems and find solutions. find the root cause to solve the problem
  • Participate in the design of the evaluation criteria for the certificate program to meet the project requirements for a number of selected initiatives
  • Coordinating with the Transformation Communication Team on the content and form of communication initiatives.
2. Process improvement and innovation:
  • Responsible for researching new technology/latest industry trends, acquired banking sector knowledge; Exchange, share and train members to improve professionalism and work efficiency.
  • Lead and contribute to the improvement of project management processes.
  • Perform other specialized finance management related tasks at the request of the unit leaders

Key Accountabilities (2)

Finance data mart: Responsible for
o Consult and supervise the design and architecture of FDM
o Be Primary point of contact from Finance to work with the PO to manage day to day operations and backlog of the Tribe
o Conduct workshops and enable solutioning to continuousy optimize FDM delivery vs. Sprint plan
o Engage Finance top team to provide periodic progress updates, escalate where help is needed and actively promote FDM project to garner participation and enthusiasm from wider Finance teams

Finnovate: Responsible for
o Work as key portfolio lead for Financial Accounting and Financial Control to develop backlog and book of work for micro projects as a part of Finnovate agenda
o Actively participate with Finnovate group to deploy quick technology enabled solutions
o Contribute to branding and marketing of Finnovate including finding creative ways to TEACH, LEARN, SOVLE and IDEATE for FA & FC portfolio

Success Profile - Qualification and Experiences

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Technology, Business, Banking and Finance or relevant discipline
  • Project management certification in PMP, PgMP will be advantageous
  • At least 15 years of project or program management experience in Waterfall or Agile methodologies; in which 7+ years of experience in people management;
  • Project or program management experience in a bank or technology organization including banking product development, performance management, IT project implementation
  • Strong knowledge and experience in blending traditional project management principles and practices with an Agile development approach in the right proportions to fit large, complex, mission-critical, enterprise-level projects
  • Business English requirement: according to TCB's policy.
