Reservation Clerk [Malaysia]


 

· Respond to all enquiries promptly and effectively (within the same day via letter, facsimile or email)

· To process all transmission of group reservation, changes, cancellations over the computer system. Ensures that all information is entered correctly.

· To constantly check the computer to avoid overbooking and advise the Reservation Manager accordingly.

· To run through the next 10 days arrival and check with all quarters (especially the travel agents handling group series) on materialization/confirmation and release rooms if not firm. For high season, to be done 03 weeks in advance. Also goes thru all group arrivals (based on cut-off-date) and follows up with the Sales/MICE for confirmation. In the event rooms are released to advise Sales/MICE via e-mail.

· To ensure that confirmed group reservations are in order

· To check through the next day’s arrival and ensure all correspondence are filed in the arrival file for review of the Front Office. Also to ensure that all requests have been completed, market segment, company name, rate code, special services, traces, A/R# have been keyed –in correctly.

· To assist the Reservation manager in achieving maximum room sales and average room rate.

To check and monitor the “no show” and cancellation daily and provide feedback

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM1,900.00 per month
