The Business Intelligence (BI) Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing our company's Business Intelligence Department, including both the local and remote BI teams. This role includes driving our BI strategy, developing BI solutions, and working collaboratively with our internal departments to optimize data usage, analytics, and reporting. The BI Manager will also play a pivotal role in managing and ensuring the integrity of our data warehouse, enforcing data quality controls, and maintaining data structures.

As a BI Manager, you will be responsible fot the numerous data within Unit-T.

  • Lead the Local & Remote business intelligence team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the team's success in delivering high-quality insights and analytics.
  • Facilitate continuous learning and development for team members to enhance their knowledge and skills in BI.
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Design, implement, and maintain our BI strategy to optimize the use of business data and improve business processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business intelligence needs and define data requirements for reporting, analytics, and dashboards.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business intelligence strategy aligned with the internal departments’ goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the development, optimization, and maintenance of data structures and our data warehouse to support BI activities.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce stringent data quality protocols to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data.
  • Regularly review data quality reports to promptly identify and rectify any data inconsistencies or inaccuracies.
  • Analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements.
  • Deliver reports and presentations to stakeholders regarding business metrics, data-driven insights, and future strategies.
  • Proactively monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular performance reports and updates to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency through data governance practices, data quality assurance, and effective data management processes.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business intelligence and analytics.
  • Foster a data-driven culture within the organization by promoting the value of business intelligence and providing training and support to end-users.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the availability, reliability, and security of business intelligence systems and data.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments and trends to ensure our BI capabilities remain current.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a business intelligence or analytics role, with at least 3 years of managerial experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful insights.
  • Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) and familiarity with database querying languages (e.g., SQL).
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL processes.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to translate business requirements into actionable analytics solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present complex data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with data governance frameworks, data quality management, and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with advanced analytics techniques (e.g., predictive modeling, machine learning) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey data and insights to stakeholders.
